Saw Mill Splash for Adventureland

According to Screamscape via Amusement Today Adventureland is getting what sounds like a major new ride for 2002.  Here's a description:

"2002 - Saw Mill Splash - Confirmed - (9/7/2001) Amusement Today reports that the park will open a heavily themed Whitewater Spinning Rapids ride next season. The lift will raise the rafts 39 feet and drop them into the waterslide section of the action, complete with the custom Whitewater “Spinning” action as it travels though a helix and a triple down drop into the 213 foot long river portion of the ride past geysers and other wet dangers."

Anyone have any idea what kind of ride this is and who makes them?

It's the one in Des Moines. When I read it it sounded to me like a rapids ride, but that makes no sense, since they already have a rapids ride which, by the way, had the longest line in the park. Who knows. Maybe they'll get a second one.
Somebody said its more of a waterslide type water ride and that there is one over in France.  I don't know much about it either. I was hoping at least for a small coaster but oh well any new ride is good thing for Adventureland.
