We went to Cedar Point Saturday and Sunday, August 17 and 18. It does sound stupid, but it wasn't awful. I had a great time at the point riding about 30 rides even though we only at the park about 2/3's of each day. Nothing is in perfect order, and I may have forgot some. Picture report coming soon. I had a great time.

I appreciate seeing at which capacity you got to ride the coasters given the amount of time you were in the park, but what about your comments and reviews on your ridding experience?
I'm not trying to be rude, but do you really think a short paragraph with no real information and a bunch of stats with no story is what people want to read?
Try reading other peoples Trip Reports and instead of obsessing over numbers, write a story. It's a chance to be creative, not just blast out a few stats that nobody really cares bout.
It's the same way my eyes glaze over when someone starts talking about the 'value' of their day being the number of rides they got.
This is just that line of thought in text. And it's as horrible as I expected. There's so much more to visiting a park than this.
I try to be descriptive to the people that enjoy reading them. Numbers don't tell a story here.
The best part of my last park visit wasn't the rides at all. It was meeting Jeph and RCMAC, having a few beers, and skipping down the midway holding hands with Gonch.
The only thing that would have made it better is probably tighty-whitey twister, but it seems I missed that at lunch.
Absolutely, Tyler. That info you posted is best suited for your personal diary, so you can keep track of what you've ridden and how often.
I appreciate that you're first and foremost a numbers person, but these endless personal stats and wait time info is tiring. Do what Mr. Tekwardo says and use this as an opportunity to be creative in your writing, expand your vocabulary, and try to come up with something interesting that we might want to read or know about.
Or don't, and that's another option. I think in all the years I've been on CoasterBuzz, I've filed maybe one trip report. It's not that I don't go often, because I do, it's just that I check myself first to see how interesting minute details of my trip might be to others. And I usually come to the conclusion that we're all out there having days and unless something monumental has happened, no one really wants to hear about mine. So, .... Delete!
I think trip reports here are best when a traveler has visited a park or an area for the first time and wants to voice some opinions. That often leads to a good discussion amongst those of us who have been there too, and we can compare our own impressions to others'.
Exactly. While I make a post in my 'trip diary' on my mac almost every time I go to a park (Save for quick visits to Carowinds, unless it's for an event or something), I don't post all of my trips here. I keep it mostly to parks I don't often visit, or am visiting for the first time, or an event I'm going to.
Numbers give no one who is planning a trip to a park much insight.

NOT using your visa master card. Priceless. Sorry, I just had to. LOL!!
I didn't do it! I swear!!
I don't know what to say about this, but, I kind of agree with what all of you are saying about Tyler's trip report. It sees more like a pop quiz, and each one of you have your own little check off answer list, and, are ready to stamp FAIL on it, like a bunch of burned out high school teachers. And, he's the bad kid in class, who always seems to be trouble.
I, on the other hand, seem to be that annoying kid who always raises his hand to make reasonable reports, to the teachers rolled eyes. Like that lady from scary movie. Only one girl has raised her hand, and the teacher says "Does anybody else have a report they would like to share, any body...please...any body. Ok...Heather. So, the student starts giving her report, until the teacher gets bored and smacks her down..Oh, would you shut the hell up! LOL!!
But, I often feel like I am going to get jumped on, when I write a trip report, so, I sometimes don't say everything that I want to say. As much as Tyler has been jumped on, maybe he's just trying to make it quick and painless. While he dons his mask and last cigarette before the execution. LOL!!
I didn't do it! I swear!!

I know those commercial. I thought it was using your Master Card that was priceless
It was a little over your head. Using your master card comes with a price, not ever using your master card is priceless.
I didn't do it! I swear!!
In real life, I'm the nerdy, but surprisingly awesome kid who is a teacher's pet. Then I am ridiculed the jocks. Yup, I'm that kid.
