Santa's Village property to be redeveloped into retail

The owner of the Santa’s Village property, Chicago real estate firm Sterling Bay Cos., said the parcel at routes 25 and 72 probably will not continue as a theme park. Sterling Bay said a development with commercial and residential uses is more viable.

Like I said all along...it'll be torn down and turned into homes within two years' time. :(
