Santa's Village (IL)

Has anyone been here? If so, how is it? RCDB says it has a compact looping coaster, but it looks kinda rough. Is their lots of theming? How is the water park? I live about a 1/2 hour a way. Is it worth going?

Well, if you live only a half hour away than I would say to go check it out. If you are looking for intense thrills you wont find it here.

Its a park geared toward families. The compact looper (Typhoon)jerks you around hard in some of the transitions.

The water park is pretty decent if you are into that type of thing.

One half of the park is themed like the North Pole which is actually pretty decent with the buildings. The other half is just a bunch of flats surrounded by alot of trees.

Hope this helps.

Is this the place where they have a fire engine ride and you put out the fire with little squirt guns. If so i remember going there a couple of years back. They were advertising there new ride typhoon, but it was not open yet(they havent even got all the track on it yet). I was a little dissappointed but it is still a pretty good little park.
