Safari Land, indoor park near Chicago, 11/8

Associated parks:
None

Thats right, its the offseason, and that means you will now be subjected to a Trip Report from the only full scale indoor amusement park in the Chicago area. :)

To those that don't know, this indoor amusement facility opened 1 year ago, and to celebrate their anniversary, they are offering a games and ride package. For $40, you get a $20 game card good for all arcade and redemption games. You also get a wristband for unlimited rides on the Go-Karts, Tilt-A-Whirl, Bumper cars, Tiger Terro rollercoaster, and the simulator coaster. You can see pics of Tiger Terror by clicking here.

With the place open from 11am to 12:30 am on Fridays and Saturdays, this is well worth the money to spend.

Although I didn't purchase one for myself, I bought one for my daughter and she had a blast. A total of 7 hours of riding for her kept her busy and happy. While she was doing all this, I kicked back in their bar area mingling with people and enjoying a few cold ones.

The food is also reasonably priced and believe it or not, actually very good. They also have black light bowling which is fun.

Make the trip out there if you haven't done so(if you live in the area). Its well worth a visit. Its located on Rte 64 in Villa Park.

Oh I love Safari Land!

Hope to visit it again the next time I am in your neck of the woods. The Tilt-A-Whirl isn't half bad either. :-)
