Waterworld USA in Sacramento is changing its name to Six Flags Waterworld Sacramento. The park will also introduce Honolulu Halfpipe, a new U-shaped slide. The park opens May 21.

Read the press release on PR Newswire.

Is this park combined with Marine world or a seperate gated park completely..Also I don't remember if theis park was included in the conference call last year as to recieve any new additions..Just Curious

It would be one heck of a walk between the parks...60 miles or so?
SF never said what parks would get new attractions only most of the parks would receive new attractions for the 2005 season as part of the 125 mil cap ex budget.
Sounds like great news for Six Flags. Best of luck to them.

Or the mountain's old Metro. ;)
In response to CrazyB, this is a separate park. There are two northern California Six Flags water parks, this one in Sacramento and then one in Concord. They are both just over an hour from Six Flags Marine World, have both just been branded "Six Flags" this year.
A HALF PIPE?!?!? The park must already have a Tornado. ;)

Concord is a lot closer actually, but no biggie.
I was just factoring in traffic. ;)
