RWB @ SFWoA

Villain was still BRAND NEW last year. It's broken in some. I feel no different in rides on Villain from last year. It's still kick butt.

As for Bobs, walk the land bridge to the wild life side and you'll see the trains just shimmy and lumber along the track. It has a promising layout but does not deliver anything but bumps and bruises.

Wolf Bobs is not a fun ride, unless your idea of fun is your kidneys smashing against the side of the train. It doesn't provide airtime. The only cool part is the over-banked turns.
Last year when I rode it I was really impressed about how great of a ride it was.
I think that little trick track or whatever it was at the bottom of the first hill was pretty cool,it actually made me feel like I was gonna fall out of my seat.
I also felt that the PTC train was great. The padded seats and the unrestricting restraints gave this coaster that controlled uncontroled feeling that I look for in a coaster ride.:)
I heard this ride was supposed to resemble "The Bobs" at Riverview in Chicago(R.I.P.) Its a shame it cant live up to it considering the Riverview coaster was considered one of the best and most intimidating rides in wooden coaster history. Oh well!!!

Too rough for the low speed it carries. The banked curves look great, but the trains go rather slowly through them (on is uphill).

The layout is basically out and back, bended once. Waaaay too many out and back type coasters at this park.

The biggest problem with RWB is the PTC trailered trains, period. Those trains can't take any sort of turn well. The problem is that the hitch point between coaches is not inline with the axles resulting in the shuffling during the turn. I'm subscribing the Althoff RWB theory that either conventional PTC or Gerstlauer trains or a little experimentation on the current trains would yield a better ride.

Waaaay too many? How could you have way too many out and backs? Anyways Villain is a double out and back, and RWB is more-so a twister. Just wanted to clear that up.

Also, like it matters to the GP anyways.

...As evidence I submit Kentucky Kingdom's Thunder Run and the way it ran with the red train versus the way it runs with the yellow train. The red train was trailered and had hard seats in it. The yellow train uses standard PTC 2-bench cars and has soft seats. At the same time that they changed the train, they did some extensive re-tracking...but there was a significant difference in the way the ride ran in the areas where they didn't touch the track that year.
