Rumors name nearly every theme park operator as interested in Orlando mall property

According to GrowthSpotter, the seemingly cursed mall now known as Artegon is being looked at by a potential theme park operator. Artegon is currently up for sale, but there hasn’t been anyone who is openly looking at it. GrowthSpotter claims that this new, undisclosed party is “a large U.S. theme park developer with international partners.”

Reading between the lines, the way it's worded as being a well known park operator with international partners...my money is on a third party licensing agreement with Six Flags like they've been touting in China and elsewhere. I could see someone wanting in to that market and using a known brand. And with the IP that SF has, you could easily have a Universal style park.

Not necessarily...

From the article:

"Duffey did leave some wiggle room for the future when he said the company looks at each licensing opportunity, but even that stance seems to be just to keep Six Flags' options open and not so much a hint that there's something in play."
