Rumor has it that Universal Studios is developing an entire Star Trek-themed land in a new Orlando park that would directly compete with Walt Disney World’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Read on for more information about a potential Universal Studios Star Trek land.

Interesting. I would imagine it will take a number of years for this to become reality while Galaxy's Edge is slated to open next fall. I wonder if they might be playing catch-up the whole time or if there isn't a huge amount of overlap/direct competition anyway. I am curious what the other lands/areas in this new park are going to be and what the overall theme for the whole park is.

If they did this, and I know I’m reaching here, but I’d love for them to recreate The Experience from Vegas as two of the attractions.

The Vegas thing was great, but I don't know how it'd work with the throughput that they'd need in Orlando. I guess they could just do multiple rooms, but still, it seems ill suited to me for the crowds at that park.
