Posted | Contributed by Jeff

Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando and SeaWorld Orlando all have extended summer hours allowing some respite from the oppressing heat and humidity that reigns over midday, and seeing the parks lit up in their nighttime splendor makes it worth the visit.

We should have a drink-around-the-world award for CB. Maybe I should make one. You need to photograph each drink for proof. :)

Hi

Incidentally, I'm the only one I know personally who has done it, which is weird, because I've certainly read enough about it. Here's my account, for review.

We tried. EPCOT had Extra Magic Hours the evening we were there for the Food and Wine Festival and we couldn't think of a better opportunity to roll outta there at midnight and ride the bus back to the resort pleasantly smashed. To our bemusement all the food, wine, and alchohol closed up at nine and all there was to do after that was rides, which we had already made a day of. We had only made it about half way around World Showcase when the shutters started slamming.

Oh well, next time we'll know to plan better.

I've done serious damage in Epcot---including the dessert-and-boozefest hard ticket at Food & Wine. But I've never actually done drink-around-the-world. I may have to try it next time.
