Yes - there is a significant amount of track work being done to the coaster (I can't give you details - I don't know exactly which parts but maintenance has confirmed the work). It will duel sometimes, but not all the time. Again, sorry I can't give you more specifics (that's based on operational issues).

Thats what I recivied from Gadv thank God Rt will be worked on for once!

Track work doesn't mean that all of the sudden this coaster is going to be great or anything. It seems to me like a complete overhaul is the only thing that is going to make this ride signifigantly better.
Don't get your hopes up.

It would be nice to see this coaster get something. It really could be an attractive and exciting ride.

maybe the thread title should have read: "RT gets NEEDED TLC"....j/k. Congratulations, it was once a great ride, and you may end up getting a really good double-wooden coaster again, even if it won't race...
Not to be a pessimist, but I have been hearing for years that Rolling Thunder will get its much-needed TLC. I'll believe it when I see it!
