Rolling Thunder at SFGAm

This may have been discussed recently, but I just came across this picture and couldn't really figure out the placement of it.  The coaster in front of it seems to be attached. . .but yet there are '0 inversions'.  Can anyone shed some light on this subject?
It was where Viper now is.  It sat next to the Demon, which has inversions, but was not connected.
Yep, it sure looks like it's connected to the Demon, but it's just the angle of the picture.  Those are two seperate coasters.
rolling thunder was not where viper is now. it was right after the train bridge where the entrance to southwest territory is viper was built before rolling thunder was taken out
Viper came after RT.  Otherwise, if it wasn't, explain how the queue lines were setup and how the first turn on Viper didn't run into one of the last on RT.  RT was taken out in 94, Viper was open in 95.

Ok People....let me straighten this out for you.

Viper was built in 1995, Rolling Thunder was removed AFTER the 1995 season for the Southwest Territory. They bothe WERE there the same year. I was there that year, and I have a map and pictures to prove it. Where were the queues? The entrance to both Rolling Thunder and Viper started right next to each other where the Southwest Territory entrance sign is right next to the Orbit. Vipers queue was a long straight queue that wrapped underneath parts of Rolling Thunder until it got to the station....and you thought the exit to the ride was long now! While in Vipers current queue you can still see concrete from Rolling Thunder's queue/station area right next to the railroad tracks. So to end this...YES Rolling Thunder and Viper were there at the same time in 1995.....buy America's Greatest Roller Coaster Thrills..The Ultimate Scream Machines on DVD and watch the Viper segment...you will see Rolling Thunder.

Alrighty,

Your point is taken!  :)

I just personally don't remember it.  I just remember going on Viper for the first time I just don't remember anything around it.  Thanks for clearing it up (and if you'd be eversokind, could you send me the pics, maybe it'll jolt my memory.)

i hate that i remember them both being there and somone is going to try to tell me they werent
I remember the lines both being right next to each other.  They both went under a bridge then they split, for Rolling Thunder you went up the stairs to the station and for Viper you went straight made a right and went straight more til you were at Vipers Station.  Rolling Thunder used to be one of my favorite rides at the park when I was younger, I used to love the turns on it.
