Hi does anyone know of any rollercoaster's named after the local team either NBA, NFL, NHL and MLB. Sixs flags should get a contract with one of these where you could get a coaster named after your favorite team instead of all these super heroes. Let me here a couple of your idea's remember the park must be close to the team you chose. here is mine change Superman SFDL to the buffalo saber. I know its not very creative that's why im asking you for yours.

I know that this coaster is horrible but, SFEG colud rename Twister II to The Bronco (after the Denver Broncos). Or since its such a bad coaster, they could name it the Denver Nuggets. Muhahahaha. The only good team that has even a remotly good coaster name is the Minnesota Wild.

Twistamaniac Even though the coaster came before the hockey team Valleyfair does have "The Wild Thing".
But I do not think that any coasters have ever been named after a team. That is meant to be named after a team if there are any than it is just pure coincidence.
Like Say The Timber Wolf at WOF and The Minnesota Timber Wolves NBA basketball team.
SFOT new coaster the Titan and The Tennessee Titans NFL football team and many other high Schools including mine. Lewis Central Titans In Council Bluffs Iowa.
Others I can think of Hurricane (Miami University) Hurricane Category 5 at MBPP. Diamond Back (Arizona) I think there is a coaster named the Diamond Back. Zephyr (AAA baseball New Orleans formerly Denver) Mega Zeph at Jazzland.
But on your suggestion if SFOG were to gat a flying coaster they could name it after the Hawks, Falcons, or the Thrashers all of wich have some kind of bird for there slogan. And Would all Make good names for a coaster.

Well let's not forget the Baltimore Ravens and The Raven Coaster at HW. There is a real *streched* tie in. The Football team that used to be in B-more, the Colts, moved to Indiana. The coaster opened in '95, the team was named in '96.
Hershey Park has a soccer team named the Wildcats. But the coaster was named after their original coaster. They also have a semi pro hockey team named the Bears and they usually have a "great" season. ;)
Brooklyn, NY's new minor leage is going to be called the Cyclones. The stadium isn't too far from the old parachute ride and the former site of the Thunderbolt.

My Timberwolves can't even beat the nuggets this year, but they can beat the Spurs. At least the rollercoaster is better than the team.
