Can we change the name of Top Gun to your mom so no one wants to ride your mom?
Actually don't even waste your time unless you have a REALLY good connection it was crappy and only 35 seconds long

Don't waste your time, because no available viewer that I've managed to find will play the stupid thing. I've tried MediaPlayer, RealPlayer, QuickTime, PowerDVD, and a few others. NOTHING will play it. I have all the latest versions, with all the latest codecs. Nothing recognizes the format at all. So do not waste your time, even if you have broadband and it only takes 30 seconds to download.
If someone who HAS managed to play it can detail how they managed to see it (what OS they're using, what EXACT software and version you're using to play it, etc), that'd be kinda cool and would help out a great many people. Better yet, if you could convert it into some REAL format that is an actual STANDARD that can actually be viewed by a majority of people, and make it available, that'd be even better.

I was able to view it. You need some kind of DivX decoder. Try PowerDVD, it's a program you can download. Then you can run the file. It should also work on Windows Media Player, BUT only if you have the decoder plug-in, which you also can download.
I've watched the thing already and it's not that big of a deal. It's is played on a big resolution, but is not very good quality. It's narrated in like German or something. But at least you can see the game run. You can see the Déjà Vu recreation, X and Viper, then some of the other parks and rides. I was also able to find that the New Ride/Attraction selection window is set up in a "grid" fashion, not like before, where each thing is set up in a row and you had to scroll left and right.

Use Divx 5.0.2. It works the best. Maybe that's why it doesn't look bad.

"Try PowerDVD, it's a program you can download. Then you can run the file. "
I explained in my previous message I have PowerDVD (it came pre-installed on my system), and it doesn't recognize the file at all. I can't download the "freeware/adware" version because it won't install over the preloaded "real" version.
Surely there is SOME way to view this stupid video! This is so frustrating!
"It should also work on Windows Media Player, BUT only if you have the decoder plug-in, which you also can download."
Again, I explained in the previous message that Media Player won't recognize it. It says I don't have a codec for it, but it can't download one that works, it always gives an error. No amount of doing anything will change that. So care to explain how to manually download and install the proper codec??
Why the heck can't people just use video formats that everyone can view? I just don't get why this was put out in that stupid format that nobody has...

go to cnet and download twins media player and ya it ain't bad quality.
Okay, I did a google search, found the "Twins media player", downloaded it, installed it, and IT STILL WON'T PLAY.
It loads the file, but clicking play does absolutely nothing. The status bar says "Video Size: 0 x 0", and if I click it, it says "Error: Please Open A File First!"... but I *DID* open the file!
What the hell is wrong?

UMMM you must not have the latest version of Power DVD then, b/c I have Power DVD version 4, running on WinXP, and it worked FINE for me, so I dunno, maybe you should just download the new version...
Here is a link to a divx player that will let you view this file.

Army Rangers lead the way
It's encoded in Divx. If you have the proper codec installed, then you CAN view it in Media Player, Power DVD, and so on. Follow the link provided by supermandl.
Quality isn't horrible, but it really doesn't reveal much, other than being able to see Deja Vu in action.

Well in that case, sounds like worth downloading since Deja Vu isn't running that much anyways!
