Rollercoaster (Movie) on the 31st. Don't miss it!

It's on AMC 10PM - 12AM, Tuesday July 31. www.gist.com/tv/progdesc.jsp?pid=MV0027510000&cid=10021&u=200108010000&gmt=-4&prev=1

This 1977 disaster movie features 'Just Shoot Me!'s George Segal (Jack Gallo) as Harry Calder, a park safety inspector.

It has great footage of Revolution when it was just two years old & very new (Minus OSTR's of course.)

IMDb info; http://us.imdb.com/Title?0076636 If you click on trivia, it says a scene was supposed to be filmed at Kennywood.

(Don't worry, I taped it off Foxtel Cable TV Down Under. Whoa, I know more about your country than my own!:))

That could be cool. I am going to have to watch that. Thanks Taipan.
Isn't the guy who plays G.W. Bush on "That's My Bush!" the mad bomber in that movie? Timothy Bottoms, I think his name is.

I love the crash in the beginning. Watching the "dummies" fly out of the train is nothing short of hilarious!

So many coasters - so little time.
Oh, dear, more corny old movies... But I'll watch anything with coasters, so count me in! :) And it really isn't that bad.

This movie comes on rather frequently, I usually see it about once a month, even if it weren't about coasters, and say it were about truck stops or something, it would still be a classic, it's a huge bonus that it even has coasters in it, it's awesome. Look at dude floating on RY! Old bars, mmmmmm.
