Roller coasters - Unsafe?

Actually, he will go on any other ride in the park, more than once, including the other rides in the park that are way faster and have more loops. Whats the difference with those then? The only ride I know now to date that he won't go on is the Chaos, which just can make you rather nausous (sp?). I say he's just chicken!

Well, I can certainly understand not wanting to ride Manits (I'll never ride that painful coaster again), but the reasoning is just silly.

I could care less about that crap. I would probably die of boredom long before any coasters or anything that they try to say is dangerous would kill me.

Tell your friend to smack some sense into his mom and tell her to stop believing everything the Networks "claim" about thrill rides. If only they would look at the plain facts, they would realize that people don't get harmed from riding coasters. Just because a few people with pre-existing conditions that shouldn't have been riding the rides anyway want to sue, now all coasters are harmful and dangerous. Please!
