Roller Coaster you would have liked to have ridden

I'd love to take a spin on each of the still operating P&C coasters in the original trains. Damn Morgans.

Count me in on the Revolution bandwagon, as well.

I'd also be interested in checking out a pre-butchering Colossus.

Wow! I am surprised it took some tool on this boad 12 posts to mention Drachen Fire.

Mine would have to be the Turn of the Century before they reprofiled it to the Demon. If only I hadnt been such a chicken when I was younger.

Comet at HP with no skid brake.

Raven with Buzz bars.

The Beast, full out.

Mike Miller - The CPG: The ORIGINAL flash mob

But the Beast NEVER ran full out. It had trims all the way down the first drop, at the top of the second hill, in the shed, and on the drop to the helix.

It doesn't go any slower today then it ever did except for the beggining of last year when it ran trimless on the first drop, however the new brakes completely ruin the pacing of the ride.

Ooohh...I forgot about that one. Good call!

The Comet at Cascade Park. The way it was laid out running through the trees, over a creek and in a gorge (hence the original name The Gorge) would have been pretty cool. Unfortunately, by the time I was old enough to ride it, I wasn't brave enough. That thing was rickety as crap and there was no way I was getting on it.

....and to think of the drenching we took in an effort to get a brakeless Comet ride....;) Oh well, at least it PALED in comparison to bASS's Lake Compounce waterfall ride...:)

So, did you get a "brakeless" Comet ride? What was it like?

Nope, Rob, the Comet was as braked as ever. And we got drenched. It sucked.

I would have thought that rain would have killed that damn brake...

I've had brakeless Comet rides, many years ago. The ride was a lot wilder, air on the return bunny hills. Of course, this could be my ancient memory playing tricks on me, but I remember it have a lot more air/speed many years ago.

I also experienced the Revolution in all its glory. What they have done to this ride is very, very sad. SDL at Hershey still runs with lapbars, so you can ride that and sort of imagine what Revolution used to be like, though of course to me Rev has a much more interesting layout.

My pick for this list would probably be the original Colossus at SFMM, just because it looked like it would have been a great deal of fun from the pics I've seen of it.

Drachen Fire , Bobs @ Riverview and Crystal Beach Cyclone

Ditto. I probably would've liked Rattler pre mod cuz I like it now.

PS.. To chicken to ride as kid vote: Big Thunder Mountain and Space Mt. in Disneyland (Orlando)

I've got to place a vote for Mr. Twister. Any coaster cool enough to inspire not one but two replacements...

I also have to vote for Wild One at SFA before reprofiling. I did ride it when it opened, but I was young and stupid and I had been out to PKI that summer and ridden Beast...

I want to live where it's always Saturday.

I forgot all abotu the Harry Travers Cedar Point Cyclone. I would love to see a reproduction someday.

Can The Phantom Get Enough Revenge?

The Steel Phanton was in my crosshairs for a ride (and in a way it still is) but since they've taken all the inversions out (and why on earth would they do that?) I've lost a lot of interest in the ride. But if I come across a chance to ride Phanton's Revenge, then maybe i'll give it a spin.

Never eat before going on a loopy coaster.

If you've never rode the Steel Phantom, you cant say its better than Revenge, which It's not. SP beat the living crap outta you. It was worse than SOB, or any other woodie ive rode. The head-banging was so bad I had a headache every time when I got off, and I consider myself to be quite tolerant of rough rides. Dont get me wrong, I loved it at the time, but I never rode more than 2 times in the same visit because it was that bad.
