Roller coaster videos

Does anyone know where I can get good videos of X, Cedar Point, and other unique types of rides like flying or floorless?

www.themeparkreview.com has Robb Alvey's videos, and I believe one of the 2002 tapes has some X footage in it. I don't know if he has released it yet, but his 2001 videos were great, but didn't have X or MF in them.

It did have X on the 2001 vid...the construction of it. I know that he has video of X this year, but I still don't know about MF.

Yep... I have a SUE video and a full onride/offride shots of X at www.coasters2k.com Heck, it even has a BKF video.

Robb's videos also had MF in it. No onride footage of MF, possibly due to CP's policy, but does have some footage. The 2002 videos that have X in it will be released in November. Right now his European videos are being sent out, but very very slowly, I'm told. Did you really watch Rob's videos and read through his website, RubberDucky?

I am very impressed with Robb's videos. I already have both of last years and received an email a few days ago stating the European are done and that he and Elisa would begin duplication (they do it themselves) and send them as soon as possible.

Cstrfrk is a FANTASTIC start to a POV collection! Trust me! I have 130 of them, and the ones I got from him are all top notch. He's got some POVs that you won't find anywhere else.

It's now college football season. The only thing that makes coasters take a back seat. This also means Rollergator is the enemy again... for 4 months.

Hey there!

I need to keep on these threads more often! I guess if I weren't doing the videos around the clock or maybe if I actually learned to read! =)

Anyway, the 2002 US video WILL have lots of X footage in it including complete onrides, POV's, etc. Spent a lot of time down at SFMM even recently shooting some new stuff and going back on Oct 13 to get more. (we'll be at the park entrance at opening to do the 'running of the bulls' if anyone wants to meet up!)

Anyway, the US vids will be available in November. Elissa just finished editing the Carowinds, SFOT, and Dollywood segments!

2001 didn't have MF due to the parks camera policies (see p_c_r!) =) But next year, we'll try to get as much offride footage as we can to do a nice montage of MF and whatever new they might be getting!
