Roller Coaster tycoon3 Platinum question.

Why do they bother having a freeze frame photo on the coasters if you can't profit from them? That was one of my favorite features of roller coaster tycoon 1 and 2. I enjoyed seeing how many on ride photos each one of my coasters sold, and also who was carrying them.

I do like the graphics in roller coaster Tycoon 3, and variety of rides is way better, but there are some features of Tycoon 2 that I miss. Like having over 6,000 guests in one park. It seems if you get too many guests in 3, the game runs really slow.

I also don't like that all the water slides I created do not count how many guests count them as their favorite ride. But, it does count the water coaster, pools, and hydroblaster ride. I enjoy creating my own stuff, and seeing how many of my peeps like it.

Not all of Tycoon3 has that.

I think RCT3 is underrated. The reason it sunk the series was because back in 2004, basically no one could run it on their computers and no one could figure out how to make custom scenery or rides. Now that we've got custom scenery and better custom rides than were ever made for RCT2, I really think this is a great game. It's just so awesome to be able to see the park in three dimensions and from every angle. The graphics could stand to be A LOT better still though. I'm thinking at least on the level of the Sims 3.

It took me seven years to finally decide to buy this game, and I'm very happy with it now that I have it.

No, the game sucked because it broke from all of the well balanced rules that the previous games adhered to.

As a game it still sucks. As a theme park and/or (simple) coaster creator, it got good after people could run it. I still play with the sandbox, but as a game, it just wasn't that fun.

Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.
