Either CoasterWorks or DreamCoaster I'm not sure wich one.

Six Flags Great America #1 Park!!!
be carefull it's basicly just disney's coaster with slightly better graphics: it looks pretty bad :-(
CoasterWorks! I believe is the name. Zero-G, have you played the game? Don't make assumptions if you haven't played it. Think UC3D for your Dreamcast.

Coasters- a little slice of heaven
Craig.....what is UC3d....is that a special accessory that you can buy for dreamcast. As you can see I'm not learned in this area :)

Have you played it? In the official Dreamcast magazine they called it DreamCoaster and then the most recent one they reviewed it and it was called
CoasterWorks.

Drat! Coasterworks for Dreamcast releases on the 28th of January. I dunno if I can wait that long. Should I get SIM themepark for PS2 or just wait?

The buzz on SIM Theme Park isn't that good...But, back to Coasterworks. How much is it going to cost?

"FEAR the Four!"

According to ToysrUs, most dreamcast games cost $44.99, a little less than PS2 games

I Personally think that Dream Coaster or Coaster Works or whatever it's called isn't all that great. I'll stay with Loopy Landscapes.

COASTER WORKS
Yes, the name of the game is Coasterworks. It was Jet Dream Coaster in Japan. As for graphics and playability, the graphics look ok, the pieces of track are very blocky looking, but the playability seems high. Only six levels of play though, so after you beat the game it's basically just building coasters. Fun for awhile, but no where near the depth of RCT or even Sim Theme Park. Basically it's for those of us who want to have a coaster game that doesn't do much but build coasters over and over. I'm getting it for that, but as far as it being something like RCT, nothing so far has come close. Peace. :)

Medusa at Marine World: the best in the west!
I've had the game for a year now (Japanese) and let's just call it Ultra Coaster 3D Lite. It looks better than UC3D, and has a lot of the functionality of UC3D, but it has a lot of problems that warrant it inferior to UC3D. Things like, you MUST build the lift directly out of the station for it to work (or the program thinks it's just another hill), you only get 150 pieces to work with in the last scenario (out of 6 scenarios), and your coaster must always fall within 'parameters' which means, it must work, reguardless of how it runs. No real sandbox mode, per se. Let me stress that a 'piece' of track in Jet Dream Coaster (Jap. title) is a two foot section of track that you can bend to your will, not a fixed shape like RCT.

All scenarios must be completed with goals in mind, very much like RCT. But overall presentation is like a cross between UC3D and SimTP. It is an ok game, prettier than UC3D, but no where as in depth.

Now, things between the Japanese release and the US release will change (they already added an online coaster swap feature in the US version), but most of it will be like the above description.

Hope that helped.

Antuan- the latest I've checked it was coming out on Dec.24
