Roller Coaster Designer?!

Does any one know what a roller coaster designer gets paid? Aldo, if some one is working for Intamin or B&M do they have to speak their language? Are their any U.S.A desinging companies? Thanks.

Arrow and Morgan are the main U.S. firms. And I'm sure that some employees at B&M and Intamin speak english. They'd have to.

Well all I know is that they get paid alot. The American Coaster Companies I know of are Arrowdynamics, Morgan(now Chance-Morgan INC)and S&S (makers of Thrust AIR Coasters)I am not sure but I also think Premier is US

Don't forget the glorious companies CCI and GCI! They are American too.

Thankfully someone mentioned the designers of the glorious "woodies." What about the Roller Coaster Corporation of America and The CoasterWorks!, are they busy with anything these days?

Does any one have a guess on how much Money B&M Them selves actalully Make a Year ????

well I am a whole bunch of money. They have to for the amount of cash they charge for each rollercoaster. I am not saying there coasters are overated , which they are definetly not, I just think there price is extremely steep compared to other designers. They have to have a few pretty large swiss bank acounts if you know what i mean

Sure B&M's price is a little steep, man, but you sure get what you pay for!!! $10 mil for another hang-n-bang, or $15 mil for a sweet new B&M? I'll spend the extra $$$$$.

Yeah. If I had the choice between a lets say Arrow coaster and a B&M (not counting roughness) that were almost identical, I would go with B&M. B&M does something special to their track (although I dont know it :) )

B+M just designs theres better and they check the layout and the smoothness more so than other firms., Last time I heard They checked the track on the cad system every three inches for smoothness and g's. but would you rather pay fifteen million for a beamer and buy five ravens from cci? I think you do pay for what you get and you do get a cash reward when you get a beamer.
