Can we change the name of Top Gun to your mom so no one wants to ride your mom?
Whenever this topic comes up around here I point people to the Versacheck program (do a search for MIPS Versacheck)
It's a program that lets you print checks. You just buy the software and purchase the blank check paper as you need it. It's inexpensive and if you have even a remote ability with a graphics program, you can make some really nice looking checks. For a while I made extra cash on the side selling people checks with pictures of their kids, their pets, their cars, whatever on them.
Of course you couldn't sell coaster checks without permission from the parks, but there's no reason you couldn't make a stash for yourself to use.

That Versa checks program stinks! I threw mine away! It's just a totally a big waste of money.

WARNING: May be habit forming
I stand by my previous comment. Versacheck will give you impressive results if you have 3 things:
1. Some good photos to start with.
2. Skill with a graphics program such as Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, etc.
3. A good printer.
A program is only as good as the person using it. So if you're missing one of the above "ingredients" then you'll probably be unhappy with it. I made more money than I care to mention by offering people checks with whatever they wanted on it (supply a photo, get some checks) and I was charging $20 for batches of 150 of these "custom" checks. This was 4 or 5 years ago before everybody had a computer and the novelty and quality was enough to keep people coming back. I haven't used the program in quite a while, but maybe I'll make a few coaster checks just for fun.
I'm just curious as to why stoogemanmoe found it so useless. The program can be had for under $20 - I still think it's smart for anyone wanting their own custom roller coaster checks.

Touche, stoogemanmoe! Pretty valid points. I agree on the magnetic inks. That'd be a huge plus. The binding never bothered me, however I don't use many checks and have no need for duplicates. I still disagree on image quality, I got great results.
I took a look at the funckecks.com site and am less than impressed. I still think better quality can be had from Versacheck assuming you don't mind the few hassles that stoogemanmoe pointed out.
Finding someone who can print "official" checks and give good results will probably cost a bit of money just for the novelty of having a roller coaster on them. To me the cost outweighs the product. I'll stick with my Simpsons checks.
