Roller Coaster Checks?

This might seem silly at the least, but do any of you know where I can get my hands on some roller coaster checks? It's time for me to order them and thought it might be cool to get some roller coaster ones.
There are none. Would be a good niche market though.

I think there are checks that you can customize with your own photos. If there are then you could use coaster photos of your own on your checks! That would be really cool!

Great Idea. What coasters do we want on the checks?

For me, Millennium Force, X, Son of Beast, Shivering Timbers and Superman Ultamite Flight.

BeccaRaptor is correct, you have to find a place where you submit your own photos, and usually, you get only one design. They are also quite expensive. I looked into it once, but decided it wasn't worth the extra costs. I decided on Marvel Superheros instead.

SCREAM with me... in 2003!

I get different ones every time. I've gone from Bugs Bunny, to golf courses, Sesame Street, Winnie the Pooh, Disney, back to golf courses, and now I'm on natural wonders. I think next time I'm going to get something really cheesy, like Precious Moments or NASCAR. It's not like anyone ever sees your checks except for some underpaid guy at the gas company...

Just did a quick search and found checksyourway.com. They offer custom checks and allow multiple images. The cost? I hope you are sitting down... $66.75 for one box of 200 checks (not duplicate) with 4 different images. Ouch!

Man I could see it now you could have several Series.

Classics woodies that would have the Cyclone and the Blue Streak and the like on them

Record breakers. The first of each type to break the Rcords for Hieght and Speed- Problem with this is it would change every year.

Top 5- Again same problem but it would be cool

And finally the most unique- You would have X and Superman and a Raptor like ride

Maybe you could just have one of each type as far as Hanging, Classic, One like the Krakken, Standing, And then X and Superman.

Man so many ideas and so little money to do anything about it.

I don't use checks...only 18, but i would be interested if the cost was cheaper(what do they normally go for anyway?)

There is a new software kit out called American Checkbook by VersaCheck that I use for my coaster checks that is ok. I took my own pics of coasters and use those. Mine, are all of IB and SFGAM. The only complaint I have with it is you can't make duplicates.

Turbo - Checks usually go for maybe $20 or so for a box of 200. I haven't gotten any for a while, but they aren't that expensive.

Doesn't this topic come up every other month or so? Isn't this about where stoogemanmoe and myself get into the "how good is versacheck and making your own" debate?

I think I'll stay out of it this time. Basically your choices are DYI (lower quality) or find someone who personalizes the image for you (high price).

Perhaps you just missed them, Sawblade. The most recent one I found was from March:

Then there's this one from last year (almost to the day):

I still think there was one between those, but don't feel like looking.

Ok, so it's not literally every other month, but it does pop up a few times each year. I have the feeling that once someone finds somebody making coaster checks, you'll hear about.

Wow, memories..lol. I actually went out and bought the American Checkbooks kit and it too is a big pain. Now I have found the MICR ink for my printer and it's way expensive. More and more merchants are taking the checks and they are going thru my bank with no problems. Still though, the pictures still look like crap unless you can get somekind of lighter pictures that look decent on the checks. Also, still no way to make duplicate checks.

Oh, so there is a MICR ink? That's interesting.

Why wasn't I informed? ;)
