Does anyone have any good coaster books? I just purchased one today called Roller Coasters by Robert Coker! It is a very good book and up to date! It has info every kind of coaster except the 4d. Another good book is The American Roller Coaster by Scott Rutherford. It is not as up to date but yet another good book that I suggest you coaster freaks should get. Do you have any roller coaster books that you suggest me to get? Thanks!

I have the two you mentions. The other two I have are Roller Coasters by Mike Schafer and Scott Rutherford and Roller Coaster, wooden and steel coasters. twisters and corkscrews. By a lot I like the second one more.

There was this same topic recently. The search function sucks, but I actually saved it in my favorites.

Robert Coker's "Roller Coasters: A Thrill Seekers..." book was just re-printed, now published by Barnes and Noble.

I have an extra "Roller Coaster: Wooden and Steel Coasters, Twisters and Corkscrews" by David Bennett if anyone's interested (email me).

Everybody is interested in a slightly different aspect of coasters/parks and a book that is right for one person may not be right for another.

www.guntherhall.com is a good place to start to see what's available in roller coaster and amusment park books.

I tend to gravitate towards more historical accounts so an "up to date" book, that is,a book covering the latest coasters, isn't that important to me. That said, the definitive roller coaster book has got to be Cartmell's "The Incredible Scream Machine." :)

I own The Great White Knuckle Ride book. It's kind of old and somewhat outdated but i can read it all day over and over again!
