Roller Coaster Ridership Statistics

Hi all,

I have a bet with a family member reagrding the number or people who ride roller coasters worldwide annually. Does anyone know where I might find this information? (I was hoping to specifically get ridership for those coasters that turn you upside down , but any statitics would help). I appreciate any information.

Try the IAAPA website. Their press releases and education links won't give you a table, but the articles concerning safety reference the number of rides given.

i looked on the Napha site. No dice there. In fact they still have TTD listed as fastest and tallest.

NAPHA is also at least 2 years behind in sending out their newsletters. I got one last year that announced Dragster! lol
