Rollbacks overrated??

S:TE dont have the twist that TTD has, and does not even come close to approaching 400 feet. 300? Maybe, but 400? HA!

After my rollback I think they are a bit overrated, although I wish evryone the best of luck on getting one. With the exception of getting yanked backwards over the crest of the hill it's the same feeling as coming down Wicked Twister's front spike the final time.

To me, it was just neat to get one in the front row, I was surprised how the train came to such an abrupt stop, the forces change alot quicker than what it appears from ground level. Since my favorite part of the ride is the launch I was glad to get another one. ;)

Not on a rollback.

Well, on all the rollbacks that I saw, the front of the train was actually over the crest of the hill before the train rolled back. I'm sure it's fun, but it's not something I'd lose sleep over.

Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."

Oh, I see what you guys are saying, I was thinking the 270. My bad.

Last season I came very close to a rollback. It was my 2nd ride on TTD, and they were having a lot of problems that day with rollbacks. They had stopped loading the last 3 or 4 rows(can't remember for sure) of seats to help prevent rollbacks.

My 1st ride we flew over the top, and I really didn't get a view of just how high 420 ft is. The 2nd ride we just hung there. The train had hit just right spot in the tophat where we sat for what seemed like a long time. It was actually probably around 10 seconds.

What a nice view. If only they had loaded the last 3 or 4 rows of seats I would have been able to experience a rollback. I wasn't complaining about it cause hanging up there for a long time was really cool too.

The name of this post is "Rollbacks Overrated?" and I think everyone that replied said that rollbacks arent overrated but just all out fun.
