Heh heh. Car park. We call them parking lots here on this side of the Atlantic. And you make fun of me for not being able to pronounce Maurer-Sohne. :)

I think the pricing is fine, and the marketing is all wrong. This is a really poorly publicized attraction. When I was talking about it at work, among a group of well-to-do travel monkeys, none of them had heard anything about it. That's not good. These are the type of people with the cash to spend and habit for travel.

Another thing to maybe consider is they are in uncharted waters right now. Family Kingdom and the MBP both had/have free entrance with the option to buy tickets or wristband. That, in my opinion, is more family friendly then charging everybody $50 at the door.

Maybe the locals and Myrtle Beach Loyalists aren't ready for that kind of change.

Oddly enough my brother mentioned it to me last week, and he is not a coaster enthusiast. He'd read something about it and thought I'd like to go there. His bad that I'd been there a fortnight before ;)
