Robb Alvey's Coaster Videos on DVD

I just wanted to let everyone know that Robb's videos are now available on DVD. They are a little more than VHS (15$). You can look at www.themeparkreview.com.

Yes/No and Yes. If you just want all footage of his on-ride POV's then you can get one of his Coaster Footage videos. The Season videos are fun to watch (for some people) and have CD music in the background.

Oh wait, he doesn't make money, he just does this for fun for his friends and family. Silly me! ;)

Ah, no matter where we go on the internet, there will always be certain parties that must bash Robb...if only they could just ignore someone they don't like for whatever reason...*sigh*

I have the latest one on DVD. I never A/B compared it to the VHS version but the sound and picture quality are good. I don't have any of the footage videos because I really don't like POV, but if that's your thing then you'd probably be into them.

These videos are goofy fun. If you're expecting a Discovery Channel-style show, well, you're not going to get that. But if you want a video of people having fun at parks and footage of various coasters and such, well then you'd probably like these videos. In general, I like watching enthusiast made videos, and seeing all the different parks and stuff. Kind of makes up for not being able to travel...

As always, these are my opinions. Feel free to yell at me if it makes you feel better or something...

Only a lot of people have legitimate reasons to bash CP.

I deleted my post because it looked like a personal attack, which it was not. I should not have accused Robb of using music which he has not acquired the rights to because for all I know he might very well be doing that now.

Getting back on topic, I don't see any reason why his DVDs wouldn't be just as good as his tapes. If you enjoy coaster and park footage, buy 'em!

He does have excellent control of his camera for the POVs. That is worth it to me alone. Well... that, and they fact that he gets to parks in Europe I haven't been to. ;)

I love all of Robb's videos and watch them every now and then. The guy has nerves of steel, or just luck, or years of experience handling those cameras!

I'm assuming you're referring to my post since you posted right after it. I'm sorry you took it as a bashing. I simply told 100% truth in everything I wrote in that post. If I bashing someone (which I don't really do anymore, I've grown up, imagine that! :)) you would definitely know it.

I guess the old motto goes "Sometimes the truth hurts."

Again, please don't read so far into my posts...there was no bashing whatsoever in there.

Everyone just has to grow up. Being a neutral party in this whole mess with everyone fighting is really tough. I just want everyone to shut up and ride.

Events like SRM and PPP aren't even going to be any fun with everyone complaining and talking behind each other's backs.

Let's just all ride and forget about everything else, ey?

What the hell? Who is fighting? What are you talking about? Honestly!

I don't know about you, but SRM is going rock the hell out! I absolutely cannot wait for that trip, easily the second most anticipated of the year for me! The company I'll be with will be awesome, and I'll avoid people I don't get along with, simple as that.
