Robb Alvey's Coaster Season 2002 Update!

For anyone who didn't preorder and get the email:

Hey there everyone!
This email is going out to all of you who pre-ordered the US 2002 videos. It's taken a bit longer for us to get these done this year between getting all the ECO videos out, planning a wedding, and all the other crazy things we've been doing! The good news is, we're putting the finishing touches on them and we should start shipping next week! =) We wanted to make sure we gave these videos as much attention as we could instead of just rushing them out. Thanks so much for your patience, and keep watching your mailbox as you should see that yellow padded envelope soon! Thanks again and we hope you have as much fun watching the videos as we do making them!

Just wanted to keep everybody in the know for Robb. I personally can't wait for the video. I ordered Coaster Season 2001 and European Coaster Odyssey 2002 and I was extremely impressed. I strongly recommend this video!

Is it high quality stuff without the home video "up and down" trait?

What do you mean by the 'up and down' trait? I have several segments from the videos available for download. Check out the SRM segement, either of the ECO segemtents (southport or Holiday Park), or the IAAPA segment for a good example of what's on the videos:

How long does it usually take for your other vidoes to get to the person who ordered them?

Appox a week give or take a day or two depending on how close you are to So Cal.

As someone who has recently started his own business I can attest that getting things done is a lot more work than most people realize, and I'm not editing video! Knowing how much footage Robb usually shoots I can imagine how difficult it is to find the perfect shots.

Although I haven't seen any complaining here I hope people give the guy a break. You might have to wait a little longer than planned, but you'll end up with a quality video.

As someone who has recently started his own business I can attest that getting things done is a lot more work than most people realize, and I'm not editing video!

I don't think people realize sometimes how much work is actually involved. I would say that on an average, after I leave my day job, at least 4 nights a week I go home and spend about 8 - 10 hours editing, capturing, responding to emails, copying, stuffing envelopes, and updating the database! I feel like I have two jobs sometimes! Although, oddly enough, my 'side gig' is actually more personally rewarding and a lot more fun! =)

Robb's videos are extremely good. I myself also can't wait for the video to get out, but it does take time to make the great videos he makes. It's not overnight magic. Let's be patient and let Robb get it done the way we all want to see it done. It sounds like Robb is still busy, even in the offseason (unless you live in southern California or elsewhere south).

I know what you mean, I watch Robb's vids every night b4 I fall asleep, lol. It's fun especially when the ppl in the vids say things that are insane, but funny.
