Robb Alvey 2002 European Coaster Odessy

Did anyone recieve their videos yet??? How are they? I am still waiting for mine to come in the mail.

Same here, I ordered mine about a week and a half ago, and I can't wait!

The videos look really nice, and that Southport clip was enough to hook me in. :)

Yeah, I don't know what's worse: Waiting for CP to announce the new coaster, or those damn videos. You'd think for f#**#@g $10 they'd at least show up on time!

I ordered mine back in August and havn't received any either.

Chill out guys, they only got them finished 4 days ago. If you ordered them 'back in August' it was a PRE-order. I don't know how many of you have actually video editted in your life, but I am impressed they are done this early. Anyway, I'm sure they'll be arriving this week; until then, watch last season's ;).

You ARE Greg! There may have been more but I saw you in at least one shot. So you can rest easy...or perhaps get a little nervous!

And as for how are the videos? I can only comment on one of the two (the Coaster Odyssey one was all I got, not the on-ride footage) And the C.O. one is pretty good! It's late so I'll save a full report for this weekend, but basically if you're only interested in coasters and want full complete on-ride shots, you'll be disappointed with this video and should get Robb's other one instead. If however you want to see the flavor of the ECO trip and shots of the park and rides BESIDES coasters, then you'll probably enjoy it.

I got an e-mail from Rob two days ago. He mentioned he is still not done filling all the pre-orders yet and he said they should be done by shipped out by the end of next week, depending on where your order falls out in. Also, don't forget that Rob has to copy each and every video from his own home, so it becomes a timely process. It's probably cheaper for him this way anyway.

ok, ALOT of people ordered them this time. Robb has been overwelmed with orders, so be patient and expect some delays

Hey everyone!

Sorry I haven't responded to this thread earlier, I hadn't seen it until now.

The videos started shipping on the 9th and I've litterally been working through the night getting the copies made. The VCRs wake me up in the middle of the night when a video is done and rewinding, which means time for more copies! =) It really is an 'all night' process! (and I have a fulltime job too!)

I ship them out using "media mail" and it takes about 4 days to go from one coast to the other. I'm about 1/2 through filling the pre-orders, and it has been 'first come, first serve'.

Thanks for your patience, as it is a very time-consuming process, and remember, that these are essentially our 'home movies' and we're certainly far from being a professional production company! =)

I'm really pushing to get all the orders out by the end of this weekend, and then it's right back to work on the US 2002 videos!

I'm really looking forward to November when I can finally get a rest!

My videos arrived today. So far I've watched the equivalent of Week One of the tour on the Odyssey video. I have to say, it's amazing so far. I can't wait to show this to the friends who thought I was nuts for going. :)

(And I appear in it just enough to show I was there, without hating how often I appear on-screen -- good balance ;) )
