I know this isn't a coaster question, but does anyone know when SFGAm switched the name of Roaring Rapids. When it first opened in 1984, it was called Whitewater Rampage. Then they changed it to Roaring Rapids.
I believe it was 1987 but I am not positive.

Maybe Whitewater Rampage sounded too intense for a water ride. Bunch of wussies, if you ask me.
Probably the same year that Six Flags took operation. Or perhaps the year after that.
