Road Trip!

After maxing out on the fun level with our Wyandot Lake/Cedar Poit "mini-road trip" this summer, we've decided to take a road trip down south next summer. we still need to plan it out, um, specifically, but this is what we have in mind so far: (btw we live in arlington va)

1. Kings Dominion

2. Carowinds

3. SFoG

4. BGT

5. Sea World Orlando

back up 1-95, hitting

6. Carowinds again

7. BGW

Do NOT miss IOA. You'll be glad you didn't. The ride selection isn't wide, (coaster-wise) but once closing time strikes, you won't want to leave. I never thought that park and it's coasters would make such a deep impression on me. You're bound to leave the park with a new favorite invert...

Another park you'll want to hit is Wild Adventures. Their Vekoma rides are in top working order, and Cheetah is, well, CCI, and that speaks for itself.

If you're into wood, take the extra 2.5hrs south of Orlando and hit Dania Beach Hurricane. I also recommend IOA and I hear Wild Adventures it pretty good.

Oh, you might also want to wait for the announcements to come out before planning. I mean you never know what some of the parks "on the way" might be getting.
