Riding 100th Coaster - CoasterBuzz

I am riding my qooth coaster this week on April 3rd and PKI. I am wondering on what you guys think my 100th coaster should be. I have it narrowed down to Face Off, Son of Beast, would be Beast but it wont be open, Flight of Fear. I know 100 is kind of low but hey I am only 15. :) Any ideas on which one it should be and why.

BTW, I'd pick SoB, not because it's my favorite ride of the three (FoF v2) but because it's the unique one...

Yeah I have thought about it. Not a newbie anymore. LOL :) I don't knwo though FoF version 2 is supposed to be freaking awesome.

I'd pick Son of Beast also because of uniqueness! And by the way, your 100 is much higher than my 28 and I'm 18. But I do plan on hitting more parks now that I am in college and have summer plans with friends. Cedar Point and PKI are just 2 to mention that i will hopefully be getting to sometime soon!

Son of Beast all the way! Flight of Fear doesn't seem to last as long and doesn't have the drops, speed, and excitment of SOB. Don't get me wrong, FoF is an awseome ride, just not 100th material IMO.

I'm all about wooden coasters and disney parks! top 3 wood: Thunderbolt, Hurler(carowinds), and Beast

Yeah I'm 15, ridden 73 by the end of the year hopefully 130.

I'm with you 100% all4coasters on riding the Beast except for one tiny flaw... It wont be open. Besides that the Beast is the perfect ride to bring in the big 1 double 0! Since the Beast will not be open, don't be an SOB, go for SOB! LOL Happy Easter everyone!

Congrats on your 100th coaster! I would choose SOB as your 100th as it is unique--there are other FOFs and Face Off's at other parks.

I will be riding my 100th coaster on a trip to PCW memorial day weekend and like you I was wondering which one to be my 100th. I was really hoping my 100th would be a Swartzkopf. Oh well. Maybe my 200th! ;)

are you talking about with re-rides? because i have 45 without re-rides and with re-rides i would be able to break 150! :)

Hulkster, generally when talking about things like "my 100th coaster", we mean unique rides, not the number of times we've ridden them.

For instance, I've ridden 138 different coasters (by the way *I* count). I've been on a few of them only once, and others 100's of times (although I only started counting laps in 2000, so I couldn't tell you how many lifetime laps I have on, say, Magnum, which I've been riding since opening season)

My 100th coaster was the Hershey Wildcat, BTW.

One Question, Why will The Beast be closed???Surely it will be open as always, I dont see why it will be closed all of a sudden, and surely it cant be for Maintenance because they have had all of the off season to actually do that?????

As for my suggestion for the 100th, I WOULD not make it SOB, as I think the coaster is Horrible, No Airtime,Its Rough, The Helixs are too big slow and boring too. The only goog thing about the ride was the loop, that was absolutly stunning, but the rest is awful. If you want a better coaster to make the 100th, Go on FOF

Congrats on hitting your 100th Coaster on April 3rd, I only recently hit my 100th Coaster on 16th March while Riding AIR, an amazing coaster to mark the achievement. My final total at the moment is now 102 coasters and will be 150-160 by the end of this year :)
