Steel? None really stick out as particularly breathtaking...
As for wood, I LOVED being SURROUNDED by chaser lights in Hersheypark's Midway America
themed area. It was magical....
MF, MS, and PT...plain and simple.

American Eagle @ SFGAm. Probably not the coolest one, but when lit up, looks very... very... Majestic? Grand? Dignified? I give up. Something along those lines...
Millennium force no doubt

Goliath is the best looking coaster at night..
Riddler also isnĀ“t bad!!!!
It might sound crazy but I think that Demon Drop and Mr. Hydes looks the best.
Power Tower, and the Force.

Of course Millinium Force, when they shut those lights off for a while as the coaster is being loaded (periodically they do this) man that would be really freaky up there with no lights. Also Beast and SOB your in complete darkness. Oh yeah Blue Streak at Cp isn't bad either.
Magnum looks majestic at night, with the lights glimmering on the towering lift hill it makes for a perfect end to a perfect day at Cedar Point.
i think millennium force, power tower and the giant wheel@six flags darien lake all look really nice in the dark. Also, i think wildcat @ hersheypark.

Millennium Force, and Superman Ultimate Escape. Those two both look incredible, also Raging Wolf Bobs looks incredible anytime of the day, even though it kinda sucks.

I agree that MF is the best looking. Particularly the intelligent lighting designs on the structure as well as the rotating logo in the boarding station. The first years of the Magnum boasted a kind of strobe-chasing effect that streached up the first hill. I thought that looked sweet. I don't know why but they replaced that with a more traditional lighting effect a couple years later.
My favorite riding time is at night, especially at Cedar Point. I just wish they had special night time hours, to enjoy that even more. For pure nightime frenzy, nothing beats Vegas.
My favorites at night would have to be the classic Mindbender at SFoG and the Great American Scream Machine at SFog, chaser lights are still as good as ever.

Acrobhobia will drop in 3,2, click. Haha very funny.
I dont know about all of this glowing, but
Mr. Freeze is my second favorite coaster at night next to Titan.
I may be wrong, but I think CP replaced Magnum's chasers because they looked like landing lights at an airport.
Now you wouldn't want a 747 coming in for a landing on top of little ole Maggie no would you? LOL! :)
THE LEGEND!!!!!!!!!!
NO, REALLY!!!!!!

ARROW GUY, exactly what I was going to say! The Legend has the best night-time lighting I've experienced. "But it has no lighting!" you say...That's the point. That's what makes it amazing. :)

If you havent seen this pic before, look at it and then say what coaster looks the best at night.
