Very rarely. Mostly just wonderland topics.

Seems like there are a couple factors at play with events/notifications...

First and foremost, turnover in the parks' PR departments seems to result in some sort of disconnect - relationships between club reps' and park staff develop over time and events can become "routine" in terms of always having early decisions and notice - those events typically get better attendance.

Just as an example, by NO means the only one, is when Morgan took over IB. I recall some friends attended a late-announced event where almost noone knew about it until a couple weeks' prior. Turned out that about a dozen or so people showed up. IB has since recognized that early notification means better attendance. When you need to schedule time off weork, book flights/hotels/rental cars, register for the events, get clearance from spouses/significant others, etc., it can be near-impossible to do all that when you have less than a month to pull it together.

Plan....may be a four-letter word. But it's NOT a curse... ;)
