19-year old Shaun Jackson from Ireland remains in fair condition at Atlantic City Medical Center after his leg was severed while working at the Monster Mash Haunted House Ride in Wildwood, NJ. He somehow got his leg trapped in the conveyer belt that the cars roll along and his leg got cut off below the knee. He was one of the workers who wore a costume and jumped out to scare the people on the ride. The ride just opened last month.

OUCH!
OMG, thats tragic..
Man... I feel sorry for him. It was a accident. It was not his fault. Dont tell me that those stuipd people against roller coaster will put it on the spot lite. I hate when those people do that, there is a higher chance of dieing when you drive there rather then being killed/hurt on a roller coaster.!

What a tragedy! It must have been terrifying for poor Sean. I can't begin to imagine or feel the incredible fear and sense of helplessness that must have coursed through his brain while he waited desperately for someone to realize what had happened and for them to stop the mechanism that was tearing him apart. He has our prayers and caring.
I didn't realize Haunted House rides still do this. I feel real bad for Sean, he was just doing his job. Just imagine being from another country, state, or town and brought to a hospital where theres a chance that you know no one and you got a real emergency. Sean, get better man don't let this put a damper on life.

I thought all of the haunted house rides didn't use live actors anymore because of the salary costs, most haunted house rides that I've been on resorted to Animatronic charecters to scare the riders.
Damn, what a tragedy! We will be thinking about you Shaun, in our thoughts and prayers!
I wounder why there was no shield put on this rides conveyer.
