When I was in 8th grade (10th now), I had the BEST Science teacher. She was just a great teacher. She knew that I was obsessed with Rollercoasters, but she thought it was cool.
It turns out, she was a ride-op on Gemini at CP when she lived in Ohio. She told us funny stories about people and the rides. During lunch some days, my friend (also a coaster fanatic) and I would listen to her talk about CP. She brought us pictures of her replacing light bulbs on Magnum and so forth.
The coolest thing, though, was on the last day of school, she told me to see her after class. I usually get my favorite teachers a gift at the end of the year. I gave her my gift at the begining of class. I went to see her, and she was holding 20 passes for front of the line rides at CP! She got them through a friend in Ohio who still worked at the Point.
I used 15 of them when I went this year. She even sent me a postcard when she went back to visit CP. She was the coolest teacher.
Anyone else have a ride-op teacher?

Passes for the front of the line?? I don't mean to doubt you, but? I dunno......you used them this year? I don't know that C.P. has those.
Actually, CP does have those. We call them ride agains. They're usually given out when a ride goes down for mechanical reasons while loaded. Those on the ride get a pass for the inconvenience. They also give them for other special circumstances. However, only management can give them out. There is only a slight possibility that someone was able to obtain 15, but its possible. In fact, I might have even seen you this summer MillenniumForceX. I seem to remember someone coming up to the Raptor platform with ride-agains from 1999. We eventually honored them.
As far as ride-op teachers, there are still quite a few that work at CP. There has been at least one on almost every crew that I've worked on.
