Ride Lines at SFMM

Hey everyone! I am going on a trip to Cali with my family and we are stopping for one day to Magic Mountain. I wanted to know, what are the longest lines, when we should hit them, and what aren't worth the wait. Thanks a lot, i will try to get all of them, but on a crowded day i am not sure it is possible. Thanks a lot.

Start left and keep going or Start right and keep going. What ever you do, don't go on a Saturday when the temp forcast is 80 degrees or warmer. If you do, bring sun screen and a ton of water!

Pick a day in May (weekday) when they are open from only 10am - 6pm. The place is deserted. Less time in the park, but the shorter operating hours keep people away. Their loss is your gain.

"X" marks the spot in 2001!
Most of the rides that are going to have long lines are worth the wait. The only one that draws long lines which I don't care for is Ninja. Goliath, batman, riddler's will be long all day, but each worth the wait. Viper starts out long, and ALWAYS becomes completely empty later on, so skip that at the beginning. Revolution, Colossus, and Flashback are all great rides with (usually) fairly short lines.
Good point on Ninja, even though it has improved of late due to tree growth. It's till pretty tame.

How is the line for Superman: TE most of the time? What is the line usually like for Goliath?

its easy start going right to goliath then work your way left to batman, riddlers, finish with viper cuz there is zero line for it by the end of the day.... the two woodies never have lines.... get in line for goliath 15 min before the park closes cuz then you get bonus time to wait in line.
Superman usually has a fairly short line on most days lately, and sometimes it's pretty long. It is the most unpredictable, I'd say. Either that or psyclone, which most likely won't be open when you go. I've seen anywhere from 5 minutes to 90 minutes for that one even on uncrowded days. I agree with nosk8r: start with goliath. (Sit in the back seat :))
When I went in early April the longest I waited for anything was 15 minutes for Superman. I guess I got sorta lucky with the lines. I walked on Goliath 3 times. It was a fun day.

Get ready to fly over Six Flags Oh..er I mean Six Flags Worlds of Adventure this summer with X-Flight!
Make sure you hit the four mega coasters first thing. Viper Riddler Goliath and Batman
RIDE SUPERMAN AT THE BEGINING! I can not say it enough! Get there when it opens go stright to Orient express transport , it drops you off right by superman, ride in front row then maybe a couple more times I only do one more. Then Got down the mountain via the looong twisty path to RR no wait at all take a lap then do Batman you should have no lines if done right! Have fun!
Thanks!!, does anybody know where i can find a park map?

MY biggest suggestion is to ride the Metro first thing.

Metro is the parks in-park transportation system. (A monorail). To catch the Metro, take the first main right as soon as you come to the big intersection right inside the main gate, and head straight ahead. The Metro station will be on the right hand side of the path. Ride it one stop. Deboard the monorail and head to the left. You can catch Riddler's Revenge, Batman, Goldrusher and Colossus before most folks even FIND this part of the park.

Starting with Superman also sounds like a good idea, as the line for that seems to crawl (the line inside the Ice Cave is very short, but seems to move faster than the line outside. If you've never been to SFMM be warned that when they call the section of the park that Superman, Ninja, Dragon Pizza, ad the Oriental Garden "Samauri Sumit" they AREN'T kidding. You will feel like you have just climbed a mountain unless you take advantage of the Incline Railway "Orient Express" (And that is to the left of the main hub by the main gate. Look ofr it by Revolutions loop. Snag Superman and Ninja and be done with the summit, then brreze down the mountain to hit the coasters in the rear of the park.

As others have said the coasters in the FRONT of the park are short waits by mid-afternoon. This worked for me when I had the misfortune of visiting the Mount when ever High School in a 1,000,000 mile radius of SFMM was having Physics day there.

My usual route is Goliath FIRST!!!!! Then Batman, then Riddler. After that head down to the front on the Orient Express to Viper and Rev. Actually before you get on the Orient you might wanna hit Superman or Ninja if they don't have lines (which they usually do especially Ninja). After that head to Flashback which sometimes has a 10 min wait at the most. Then Colossus and after that you've hit all the good stuff. But if you're going after Memorial Day when Deja Vu opens, I suggest you hit that FIRST!!!!! I can't stress that enough. I can already see the line for Deja Vu stretching all the way past Roaring Rapids.
