I will be on my first "coaster trip " next week. I was wondering what type of lines I should expect...
I will be at Hershey Park Sunday night, and all of Monday. Since Im buying the tickets Sunday for that preview thing. But there also is an Incubus Concert Monday. So what kind of lines should I expect?
I will be at Dorney Park Tuesday I believe. What type of crowds should I expect?
Ill be at SFGadv Thursday I think, again, what kind of crowds am I looking at?
And then Knobels Saturday, which im not concerned about..
Thank you much!

Isn't this one of those questions that really can't be answered accurately? No one really knows what lines will be like. Too many variables.
What's the weather going to be like? What will potential guests think of the weather? Any special events going on? How many people are planning on going that day already? How many will make a last minute decision to go? Maybe our ideas of long lines differs?
Sometimes you go to a park expecting large crowds and for some reason you get walk ons. Sometimes just the opposite happens.
School's out by next week in most areas. People are starting to think about sumer activities. I think you can expect lines at most parks from here on out.

Dayuum, Your HOT!
Avoid driving in the vicinity of Hershey when people are coming or going for the Incubus concert. The whole area grinds to a halt when they have concerts. The park probably won't be bad though except maybe after the concert, so just get to the park long before the concert.
Knobels could be packed on Saturday with company picnics etc. Also, remember that Knobels doesn't have POP on weekends. It's all pay per ride.

Go AVS!!! AVS will repeat!!!
I visited Hershey last year at this time (first full week of June) on a Friday. It was crowded during the day, but by evening the waits were almost non-existant. Comet, Wildcat, and Lightning Racer were walk-ons, with 1-3 train waits for the front and back. I have no idea what it would be like this Sunday, however.
As Jim Fisher said, you'll miss out on POP at Knoebel's on a Saturday.

POP = Pay One Price
You should be able to get on everything in an hour, but I'd spend the whole day there myself. The place is magic, and the Phoenix and Twister are great coasters.

Yes... these topics are insanely pointless because people are not fortune tellers. If the weather is nice, the kids are out of school and/or it's a holiday, I think you'll figure it out. Besides, if you're going anyway, what are you going to do, get back on the plane if it's crowded?
