Holiday World, it's impossible not to have a good time
Typically, parks usually place next years' season passes on sale at near the end of the current season (like sometime in August). In order to boost those sales, this is usually when they try to announce rides. But as you can tell from the responses above, that's not always what happens. There are other factors that can go into determining when the info is released such as not being able to hide it anymore. I believe this was the case with PKD already announcing next years gyro-drop....apparently there were pieces of the ride clearly visible from certain area's of the park....and if the GP can already figure it out, then you may as well announce it.
Happy Coastering!

Can we change the name of Top Gun to your mom so no one wants to ride your mom?
SFO was announced around December 7th, 1999. X-Flight was announced January 4th, and then the buyout of SWO i think on January 7th. I'm not completley sure on the exact dates, if wrong correct me.
