Revolution's Logo

Ahoy There!

Does anyone have a picture or know where I can get a picture of the Revolution's (SFMM) logo? Thanks.

You mean the "Screamy Meanie", right?   :)

I rode "X" and never went upside down.
Last time I checked, there is no logo. Maybe when it was new they had one but none that I know of now. All they have on SFMM's site is Revolution in white with a yellow background.

It actually does have a "logo" it's just "Revolution" in old looking writing. This is above the waterfall in front of it's entrance. I don't really consider this a logo, it's more of a ride entrance sign.

HomeyG - I thought that "Screamie Meemee" was Colossus! Revolution was, if memory serves, the "Whipper Snapper".

I've seen that movie way too many times...It's the best one.

"That's not even a real gun, is it?"
"Sure it is-This is a Magum PI!"

HA! :)

Actually Revolution did have a logo once upon a time. I have a Six Flags souvenir calendar for 1995/1996 and one of the months has Revolution. It shows a logo that looks like a circle with the words "Revolution" on the top half of the circle and "Six Flags Magic Mountain" in the bottom half. The middle has a wierd looking track design. Hard to explain, maybe I should scan it so you guys can see what I'm talking about.

As of right now its one of those rides that simply doesn't have a logo. Kinda like Sandblasters, Buccanneer, Swashbuckler, Sierra Twist, etc...... More just a fancy font to tell you what it is.

"We can't just leave her here!"
"What do ya want me to do? Slip her in the night deposit box at the funeral home?" :) I think that movie needs it's own fan site!

I absolutely love that movie.  Amazing how fun Revolution loks with only lap bars.  sigh....

"If somebody throws a rock and knocks a man off his donkey, do we say that he's stoned off his ass?
It's just painted on a wall above the waterfall, the theme is kinda Matterhornish at DL. SFMM does sell Reveloution shirts, anbd the ones I saw had a very modern look to them.

SFMM line cutters are the braviest in the world.
The ORIGINAL logo...

I lived in L.A. in 1976 (when THE REVOLUTION first opened, and I recall it had a "print" logo and a physical logo at the entrance to the ride. The print logo was the word "revolution" in a loop shape with socks flying out of it because the radio ad was a song that went "Magic Mountain's Revolution - it'll knock your socks flat off!"

But the big revolution sign at the entrance was just big lettering. I know they've changed it a bit over the years...I sure would love to see a photo of the original entrance way and that sign!
