They did an incredible job with Breakers. It feels much more like a true resort now.

Can anyone elaborate on the Lake Erie pollution comments? I thought they had made significant progress in that regard?

Lake Erie is in pretty good shape, and has been for decades outside of some temporary algae problems.

Presumably the harmful algal blooms in the western part of Lake Erie are what the article was referencing. Have caused drinking water problems for some people. From what I have seen, primary cause is fertilizer runoff from farms.
But overall, cleanup efforts in the Great Lakes have done a great job. Friends I have brought to the lake to sail have been surprised and impressed.
