MM on the other hand is an hour or more away from there depending on traffic, our traffic sucks!
I live in the San Gabriel valley and work near LAX which is only 30 miles and on a good day can take me an hour to get to work. I hate the 405 freeway!
Trust us we know SoCal.

...isn't it faster to drive the extra 3 or 4 miles to SFMM, away from the city and away from the traffic?Nope, and if you looked at a map of our freeway system and saw the route to SFMM from anywhere in LA you'd see the bottleneck one must travel thru to get there.
...as I remember the way you people drive, four miles only takes an extra fifteen seconds.
I live five miles from my office. My commute is at least 30 mins. I don't know what Los Angeles you visited but if you were able to drive that distance in that short of time it had to be an LA in an alternate universe
Now, the first time I was there I was 8, so I'm exempt. I guess I just got lucky this year. Cruised with the flow of traffic about 90MPH from Rolling Hills all the way to SFMM.
It took me about the same time to get to friggin' Santa Monica that it did to SFMM.
Now that's retarded!

Okay... and in your forty years in LA, isn't it faster to drive the extra 3 or 4 miles to SFMM, away from the city and away from the traffic?
Nope. It's faster to make a beeline for your destination while doing cartwheels.
You want to talk retarded park hours? The parks in the northeast don't have any winter hours whatsoever. Now THAT is retarded!
Ditto for SFMM's schedule since they mainly appeal to teens, not a smart business move to be open when a majority of your target audience is in school. Much different situation at KBF which is more or less a 3rd gate for the DLR.
And from what I've heard you can't even count on nighttime entertainment being offered every night at Disney Parks in the middle of the summer (at least at WDW).
I could never love an Arrow!
So considering that if i was at the airport here, how long would it take to get to Knotts from there, if maybe i drove or let a taxi do the business for me, which would be expensive as hell im sure. Just wondering. Plus what is the going rate of gas if i did get a rental car there. Alot of questions but i still have time to save the money for answers. *** Edited 9/19/2005 7:32:25 PM UTC by MagnunBarrel***

I recommend using MapQuest or Google Maps when picking airports. You definately DO NOT want to fly to San Diego to go to Knott's. :)
SNA -> Knott's
LAX -> Knott's
ONT ->Knott's
Hope I've helped. :) Remember Southwest doesn't post their fares on other websites, but they're not always the cheapest.

MagBarrel - DO NOT fly into San Diego if you want to visit LA parks.
Burbank is the closest airport to SFMM.
LAX almost in the middle of the two parks.
Long Beach, John Wayne, and Ontario are closer to Knotts and Disney.
