Is there any roller coaster that has a seat belt. I have not seen one, I was wondering if anyone has seen a old fashion coaster with seat belts.
yes. the wizzer @ SFGAm is a pretty old speed racer (looks like a mini steel coaster on RollerCoaster Tycoon), and it uses seat belts. it's a pretty fun ride that weaves in and out of trees and over a pond and stuff. its a fun one.
Most of CP's coasters use seat belts like an extra redundancy: Gemini, Mean Streak, WildCat, Mine Ride, Blue Streak, Millennium Force, Magnum... Raptor and Mantis have the seat belt as part of the restraint. I know that Disaster Transport and Iron Dragon and Corkscrew do not use seatbelts.
Many have seat belts. Kennywood's 1921 Jackrabbit has authentic leather seat belts. (Made with fresh strong leather) SFA's even older Wild One has seat belts, but they are modern belts in modern cars.
At the other extreme in roller coaster history, all of the Intamin hypers have seat belts.
I would guess that most coasters today that do not have OTSRs do have seat belts.
Scooby Doo @ PKD has one.
------------- If FoF got that great of a makeover than why can't I?
Phantom's Revenge has one.

The one at Indiana Beach has no restraints at all...you sit freely in the car, like you would in a log ride.
