Hey!

Or, this time of year -- hay!

Actually, Abraham Lincoln grew up just four miles west of here. There's a nice national memorial there with a visitors center and living history farm.

Otherwise, mostly family-owned attractions and outdoorsy activities. Buffalo farm, canoeing, boating, scenic train rides, drive-in, lots of caves.

Marengo Cave was a lot of fun...of course, I'm *highly addicted* to going underground...;)

We don't get tunnels in FL, just retention ponds and lakes... ;)

Squire Boone Caverns is great, too -- lots of rushing water way down below the rather rickety-feeling bridges. Plus a coffin near the end of the tour...

Somehow I hadn't heard anything about The Voyage. That coaster looks amazing! Huge drops, speed, tunnels, wooded environment, lots of airtime, and a great combniation of out-and-back and twister elements - it has it all. If it is half as good as it looks, it will still be amazing.

I have been debating a trip to this often lauded park for the past few years, and this may be the thing that finally gets me into the car and headed to Holiday World.

Count me in on the list of folks making their first trip to Holiday World next year to ride The Voyage.

Heck, I'm traveling up there all the way from Texas just to vist the park and this outstanding new ride.
