Gotta love that in order to claim Infusion -- an off-the-shelf SLC -- breaks some sort of record Blackpool's marketing department uses the qualifier "over water."

How far away was Pleasureland Southport from Blackpool? Looks like less than 25 miles on the map (as the crow flies). It's not like they moved it from across the country or from continental Europe. The thing came from, literally, just down the road.

At least it's one of the prettiest roller coasters. (rollseyes)

Indeed, it's amazing how well they've managed to polish a turd.

It doesn't ride badly, either. So far.

I develop Superior Solitaire when not riding coasters.

Na, she was probably scared at first but that was a total COASTERGASM!

But i'm sure the park is not looking to advertise people ready to hurl.

But media coverage good or not so good.. is still media coverage.
