Report expected today in Six Flags New England death

Massachusetts officials were expected on Monday to release details on the cause of the accident that killed Stanley J. Mordarsky, 55, of Bloomfield, Conn., on Saturday at Six Flags New England. The man came out of the ride, apparently in the final curve, before falling to his death.

So tonight on the CT news they had a guy on there who claimed to be riding two rows behind Mordarsky on Saturday. According to his claims, Mordarsky was in the left seat of the front row. Supposedly coming into the last turn, he was hanging out of the coaster for some reason, with the man sitting to his right, and the woman behind him trying to hold onto him. If that account is true, he must have had a problem during the ride, perhaps a medical emergency, which caused the people around him to take notice.

The other piece of the mans testimony I don't know if I believe. He claimed to be sitting on the right side with his daughter on the left. He claims that his side of the car was checked, but the side his daughter was on did not get checked at ALL, meaning Mordarsky would not have been checked. If I had not riden Superman as much as I have I might believe this, but I have never seen them not check a car, no matter how long it takes. They don't always check them good, but they at least go through the motion. Also, the train only dispatches after the 4 attendants finish checking and press their go buttons on the wall. If someone hadn't checked on time, they also wouldn't get to their station to give the go ahead. You'd have to intentionally not check a ride to do that, and in 2 years of riding, I've never seen that happen.

On SFA's superman there's only one dispatch button on the platform(entrance side) that is pressed to dispatch a train....at least from what I've seen.

Has anyone got any links to any articles on how SFA is handling the situation with their ride? so far I've only seen articles regarding what SFNE & SFDL have done with regards to their rides but none so far for SFA.

There are at least two at SFNE, one in front, one in back. Opposite sides of the train two.
