Released Early?

When will WW be in stores? I want to get it tomorrow, but I don't know if it will be in or not. It ships tomorrow, but will it be in stores?

It will be in stores definitely on May 7th. For any game, you have to wait at least 1 day before you can get a copy.

So, does that mean that it will not be in stores tomorrow? I am very anxious to get this WW as well and all the sites that I've been to say that it will be released May 6.
it should be in stores today

That's definitely NOT true. In fact, I've never had to wait a day. The game is always available on Tuesday, the release date. Something is amiss here.

Anon: I assumed that because on ebgames it says that the game will be shipped on may 15th so it usually takes a day for it to arrive in stores and so thats why I said it. I'm guessing you got the game right after It was shipped. I also asked a eb games clerk about it and he said it would arrive on wednesday. But release can always be confusing? like with rct2 and how it was realeased early.

For two secends, shut up. INFOGRAMES released RCT:WW on May 6. They did there job. It all depends on how long it takes the shipping companies to get it to the right stores, or the homes on online orderers. Nothing is amiss, the delivery services are getting the games to the right places after its release of May 6.

You are very much right coastergoose(thats a very orginal name, i never heard it before). I'll change what I said before: It's all about the shipping.

I made this name a long time ago, when I was stupid and just like my brother. I was a little more into roller coasters and played the RCT games religiously. Since then, I have lost some interest in the games and switched over to stuff like Mario and Grand Theft Auto. I still get every expansion pack or new game and still create some Fantasy or Mega Parks (though I recently had to reboot my computer to upgrade some new equipment). I just feel that, especially since everyone knew this game would be like it turned out to be, everyone is trying to find a way to put down this game. It is getting really annoying and I feel as though I have to shut some of these close minded morons up.

You are very much wrong, coastergoose. Sorry. Every other company, when they release a game on a given date, has it IN STORES READY TO BE BOUGHT on that date.

Obviously something IS amiss, and you're in some bizzare state of denial. It was the 9th before even a single copy appeared in my city. They screwed up. Period.

For a game that "sucks so bad and isn't worth even half the going price" and was shipped all wrong clearly making something "amiss" there sure are a lot of people clamoring to get a copy. (as this thread indicates)

Sounds like smart marketing on a good product to me.
