Reithoffer Shows info

Has anyone been to one of the Reithoffer carnivals this year? They've been set up just down the road from me for the last week or so, and I was thinking of checking it out tonight (or some other time this weekend). I don't know how up-to-date their list of rides is on their site, but one picture shows a coaster (I believe a Flitzer or something similar). I haven't seen a travelling fair with a coaster in my area in years. Does anyone know if they still have it?
You have the right coaster It's a Schwarzkopf model tandem seating model. That was the one that had the accident in 2001 at the York Fair where the boy died. I'm not sure if it is still on the circuit or not.

Although on their Midway page there is a coaster pictured which could be the Flitzer. *** Edited 4/9/2004 11:03:07 PM UTC by coasterpunk***

Thanks, coasterpunk. The Flitzer was not there, no surprise. We did ride a small Dragon-type coaster, though, but I can't figure out what model it is. It looked like a Zamperla, but I cannot find the exact layout on RCDB.
The dragon coaster could have been a Wisdom Dragon Wagon. Reithoffer splits their units during the season and sets up the number of rides according to the spot size (not every ride at every site), so that is why it might not have been up. Also, the Flizter is a Zierer coaster, not Schwarzkopf.

Ahh, good call. It was indeed a Wisdom coaster, specifically an Orient Express model. Pretty fun coaster, actually.
Does Reithoffer have their Super Loop on Top back on the circuit yet?

Oh, how I miss that ride.

They did have a Larson Fire Ball, if that's what you're referring to, Maddie. I would have ridden it if the ride cycle wasn't 5 or 6 minutes. I unfortunately don't have a high tolerance for most flats. They also had a KMG Afterburner, which I really wanted to ride, but I just wasn't feeling up to it.
At the Bloomsburg Fair, Reithoffer is the supplier of rides, but sadly, we haven't ever got the Flitzer. We do, however, get the aformentioned Afterburner, a KMG Tango, a Zamperla Power Surge, a Larson Fire Ball, and a Pharaoh's Fury which seems to swing higher than any other one I've been on.

We also used to have a HUSS Top Spin, which I never got to ride due to me being vertically challenged...:(

Years ago we had the Flitzer (I'm talking at least 15 or more) and a double ferris wheel at the Bloomsburg Fair!
The Super Loop on Top that Reithoffer owns is themed as "Flip 'N' Out" -- it's not the Afterburner or Fire Ball. The Afterburner, in particular, replaced the Super Loop on Top as the Nassau County Fair's "big" attraction when, if I recall, the Super Loop on Top was set up somewhere along the Jersey shore.

Since Soriani and Moser have gone their separate ways or something, the Super Loop on Top is now marketed by Zamperla as the Windshear.

Ok, so I was way off. Whoops!

The particular unit that I saw didn't have the Super Loop on Top, but as LONNOL said, Reithoffer has two units traveling around. The other unit is also in my area currently, but unfortunately their website doesn't specify where. This is actually pretty aggravating--It'd be nice to know where both units will be heading after this weekend.
