Six Flags, Inc. announced today that the results of Red Zone's consent solicitation have been certified by IVS Associates, Inc., the independent inspectors of election, and that all of the proposals that were the subject of the consent solicitation have been adopted. To whom I'll be saing it to, I won't say, be it the Burke followers, or Snyder followers, but in a year, you'll know.
;)
Excuse me if I take a "sit back and wait" stance on this. I don't care who has control of the company, until I see some results or at least an outline of what is planned to turn things around *inside* the remaining parks, I don't plan on doing any celebrating, gloating or expressing sighs of relief.
If you have a losing team, the coach is usually the first to go. It doesn't matter if that coach has a great career record or even brought the team to the Superbowl three years ago- if the team isn't winning this year, he runs the risk of losing his job. Same goes for the majority of his coaching staff.
Coaches are replaced by coaches that may not look or sound any better, and very often, successful coaches are replaced by less successful coaches, but sometimes a change in mentality starting from the very top is all that is necessary to get things back on track.
I thought that Crennel would work out well there, although I know you need to give a coach at least two years to make any kind of tangible difference. We'll know if the Giants' coach is doing any good during the next month or so!
